‘Catching Up!’

Finally got caught up on the “freebie” sketch cards that go with the full-color “Wednesday Nite Sketches!”

I’ll be packaging up all of these with the full-color drawing today and shipping them out!

“Tippy Canoe!”

According to Wikipedia and under the name, correctly as: tippecanoe!

However, my “tippy canoe” is based on tipping the canoe that my lovely wife Bella and I took for a trip down the Tomoka River!

Yes, as we were shoving off, I lifted my right leg up to high to “get” into the canoe and we wound up making a splashing entry into the water at the gate!

We were not hurt, except for a cut I got on my big toe…remember to wear an old pair of sneakers next time…and finally on our second attempt launched a successful trip for about an hour.

It was a lot of fun, take a look on my Facebook and you’ll see I linked to some of Bella’s videos and pictures.

Next time, we will be a bit more “prepared!” …and I’ll be a bit more balanced!

“New Business Card!”

Changing over to the AT&T “U-Verse” means I’ll be needing a new email address, which also means, time to “update” by business cards.

New Biz Card

While I find it hard to use only “one” image for the purpose, I played around with a design for the past two weeks.
Hat tip to Mike Zeck for the help and input! Mike came up with the “new” lower case ” jb” look on the card, and we discussed all other options on layout, color, etc.

“Daredevil and Black Widow!”

Thx, to Andrew for his patience and his letting me “design” this homage piece!

You might remember this original picture from an earlier post, where I showed the Sergio Toppi piece that I wanted to pay “homage to.”

I didn’t dare try to do any “line” work like Toppi, I decided to keep the graphic design and also keep the line work simple.

Another piece is now off my “late commission” list.
I’m making good progress.

Hopefully when I get caught up, I’ll be able to offer “full” comic cover art quality commissions and more!
